Our Story

Mike and Deana founded Pediatric Connections in 2014 with a shared vision to better support children who needed more than traditional school based services could offer. Guided by Deana’s expertise in reflex integration and a desire to empower families, the clinic grew from a small storefront into a larger, established practice with a strong team of therapists. Their continued commitment to serving the community has led to ongoing growth and expanded services.

Based on the evaluation, we create a treatment plan tailored to your child’s needs. We will review recommendations with you and answer any questions.

Ongoing
Therapy Sessions

Your child attends regular therapy sessions in our treatment rooms and sensory gyms. Each session is personalized and incorporates the methods best suited for your child, including MNRI, sensory integration, neurofeedback, listening programs, or other approaches.

Family Education
and Support

We teach practical strategies and give you tools to support progress at home, school, and in the community. Collaboration with families is a key part of our process.

Continuous Review

As your child grows, goals and treatment plans are adjusted to support ongoing development. We encourage open communication at any time throughout your care.

The Voices That Matter Most

Through the process of working with our therapist… we have been able to cross midline, we have words to tell us when we need a break and need to be safe. He can eat independently on his own, while we still have struggles from time to time we’re making great progress!

Parent of a 5 yr old

We have had an amazing success story! She no longer wets the bed, which is a HUGE win for us. She is able to take that pause before she has that impulse to do something she knows she probably shouldn’t…
I’ve seen an incredible maturity in her ability to verbalize what she’s feeling and get through it together… It’s been a wonderful experience and I’m just grateful for everyone here!”

Parent of an 8 yr old

While eating at a restaurant, M noticed a scary movie on one of the TVs. She quickly went into a panic, burying her head into her hands. We requested the TV be changed but she was unable to get out of her panic mindset. I took her out of the restaurant for a walk to engage automatic gait to help get her out of the spiral. After about 2-3 mins of walking, she was back to her silly, happy self!

It’s crazy how much my abdomen has changed after the fascia work and other things we did. I move differently and I feel so much lighter. The shift in my body from seeing you was powerful in the moment and as time has gone on, I am seeing it physically as well.

I just had my chiropractic adjustment and it went so well because my body was so prepared. My jaw shifted so well! My face and jaw and head feel so much better. Thank you for all of the work you’re doing, it is helping a ton!”

Victories can happen at home as well as in the office. “We made strawberry- banana smoothies! Our goal was to increase his bilateral coordination, fine motor, visual perceptual, and executive functioning skills through this activity. He prepped the recipe by hand writing it onto a recipe card. He then used the recipe and followed the instructions to make the smoothie. He gained confidence throughout this activity by improving these skills. These skills will carry over into helping him to be more independent at home.
